Jurassic Park Revisited?

Is it possible to resurrect the long extinct Wooly Mammoth? If so what would be next? A Neanderthal? A Megalodon Shark? As for the last two I would think not but some think it’s possible to clone a Wooly Mammoth and bring it back into a world where it hasn’t walked for more than ten millennia. Is this a rehash of a tossed out Jurassic Park script? Not really and there are more than a few scientists that think such a project has possibilities.
Attached is a link to a site that recounts a similar article that was passed on to me a while back. I guess you’ll just have to read it and judge such a venture on its own merits. Enjoy!

As much as I would dearly love to see a Wooly Mammoth alive and well, I don't think it's a good idea. Jurassic Park for all its preachiness makes a valid point: Just because you CAN do something doesn;t mean your SHOULD. The Mammoth either died out (because the world thawed) or evolved itself to a more practical (for it's new environment) form. Bringing it back just to show you can is all right on its own arrogant merits, I suppose but let's not pretend that we're going to learn much about mammoths from it.
